J SANDY was born on March 10, 1987 in Santiago de los Caballeros, where he later relocated to Sabana Iglesia El Flaire. Sandy made music and appeared on DR national television at a young age. His first composed song was a Christian song, however soon after was influenced by Latin Urban artists and began writing music more geared towards trap, rap and hip/hop. Sandy moved to the United States at the age of 22 and has been pursuing and perfecting his craft ever since. The singer and songwriter has already composed several songs, most notably from his Album “The Empire” but continues to write and produce music Designed to get on the Billboards. J Sandy has been a lower east side resident for over 15 years and brings the latin community crowd when he performs. Key performances include opening for Dounia at The Knitting Factory. He was selected to Perform at Lyve Tyme showcase hosted by SwiftonDemand . The Emmy nominated producer, Illmind commented that although he couldn't understand the words, the music spoke to
him. His energy and performance style is loved by all ages. Even though all of his songs are in Spanish, those who do not speak Spanish quickly fall in love with the way his music makes them feel.
